In a letter signed by its Director of research; Dr Rodomiro Ortiz, IITA aknowledges contribution of this researcher (Nagib Nassar). About two millions hectars of Cassava are planted now in Nigeria by cultivars stem from hybrids supplied by Nassar in the Decades 1970s and 1980s.
