Francis Makari is a Kenya-based Editor with a bias for
agriculture and development issues. He has studied both
agriculture and information Sciences ,holding degrees
in both from Moi University, Kenya. He has held senior
editorial positions over the last decade in agricultural
journals, including Agricultural Review, which is
published for Eastern and Southern African readers.
Mr Makari
is a keen follower of international agricultural
research efforts aimed at reducing hunger and
malnutrition in developing countries as well as
conserving the environment.
He is currently the Director of Lanscope, a media agency
in Kenya that assists international companies to reach
African markets in addition to his work as Associate
Editor of Agricultural Review.
