Priscilla
Nyadoi, born Ugandan national. Currently she is the
managing director of Conservation Consult and Research
Company Uganda Limited. She also lectures at the
department of Soil Science of the Faculty of
Agriculture, Makerere University. Prior, she was a
Research Fellow with the Genetic Resources Unit of the
World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) for the past six years
and at the Austrian Research Centres Department of
Biogenetics and Natural Resources-PICME Unit, Austria
from 2007 to 2009. In the past, she was a lecturer at
the Nyabyeya Forestry College-a of Makerere University
and a Research Coordinator for the National Agricultural
Research Organisation (NARO)/), Uganda. Priscilla has
decades experience in research and publications mainly
in the field of Forestry (Ecology, Biodiversity,
Agroforestry and Population Genetics). Over this period,
she received various awards/fellowships, including but
not all, the International START secretariat Visiting
Scientists Fellowship, and the Austrian Agency for
Development Cooperation (OAD)-North South Dialogue
Fellowship. Priscilla attained a bachelors (honors)
degree in Forestry, Masters in Forestry and obtained her
PhD in Forestry of Makerere University. She can be
